The BenRiach 12yo Sherry Wood is produced by vatting whiskies that were fully matured, for at least 12 years, in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry butts sourced from Jerez, Southern Spain. At a time when heavily sherried whiskies are becoming so scarce, BenRiach steps in for a home run! Bottled at 46%.

Nose: A wonderful combination of mocha, dark chocolate, sultanas and rich spices- all the right notes produced from quality sherry casks.

Palate: The sweetness from the sherry casks are well balanced with the notes of figs, dried fruits, vanilla and rich spices. With the dark chocolate and mocha ever present.

Finish: Medium in length with lingering subtle spice, and a dessert-like quality that calls for another sip!
