These fabulous antique Victorian earrings are set in Sterling Silver adorned with sparkling Paste stones and blue Enamelling, Circa 1900.
A beautiful Paste bow sits at the top of these earrings leading down to a tear drop shape of Paste stones surrounding a blue Enamel dropper.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass pastes.
The earrings boast beautiful all round workmanship.
