A stunning Antique Suffragette pendant from the early 20th Century (Circa 1910). It’s modelled in 9ct Yellow Gold and decorated with violet Amethysts, green Peridots and white Pearls.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
The piece is suspended from chains on a bow shaped bale and features more delicately crafted ribbons and bows throughout with a lovely chequered design in the centre.
It’s absolutely beautiful and one of the prettiest Suffragette pendants we’ve ever had for sale. It’s complete with a pin on the reverse so it can also be worn as a brooch.
