A beautiful Antique Edwardian Suffragette ring modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold and set with a line of green Peridots, violet Amethysts and twinkling Diamonds.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised: Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The inscription ‘DAD – 27-05-04’ can also be found within the shank along with a later date of ‘1958’ which will have been important dates to previous owners.
The gallery features exquisite detailing and engraved scrolling patterns along the sides and overall is a fabulous antique treasure that looks fabulous when worn.
